Volatile organic compound (VOC) in newly renovated buildings is a serious threat to human health, and various decoration materials are the main sources of VOC emission. A pre-evaluation model of indoor pollutants is proposed, which can efficiently fit the indoor VOC concentration curve according to the construction information and building material information. The model is verified by design experiments, and the influence of temperature and humidity on the emission of different decoration materials is studied by the environmental cabin method, and the indoor formaldehyde concentration of the building is predicted based on the measured cases. The results show that the model can accurately describe the pollutant emission of dry and wet materials, and the trend of the fitting curve calculated by the model is in good agreement with the measured data, and the relative error between the fitting value and the experimental value is controlled within 30%, which has certain significance for predicting the concentration of VOC in the newly renovated buildings.
